The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Party
From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a wide array of characters, and a thrilling plot showcasing celestial beings, evil spirits, and dark forces expanding in influence within the city.
Heads-up: Revealing details for the latest installment of Campaign 4 lie ahead.
The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed
The latest chapter ended with a dramatic pause and presented the initial group of heroes who will split off from the main group to embark on their own adventure, apart from the remaining groups.
The Soldiers table consists of Teor Pridesire (played by Travis Willingham), Thimble (Laura), Tyranny (Whitney), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).
The Reason for Division
With 13 cast members, it was clear from the beginning that keeping everyone at one table would be unfeasible.
That’s why, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, connecting the personal journeys before dividing into three separate parties: Soldiers, Schemers, and Questers.
What Defines the Warrior Group
According to the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who are drawn to a traditionally charged battle-oriented narrative style where non-violent answers are scarce.
At first glance, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander might seem out of place, but the events of the latest installment demonstrate why these five characters are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.
Reasons to Leave
First, the team has a clear idea where to go next after a brutal initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.
An old friend of the deceased character—whose death started the story’s plot—manipulated the enemy for his personal gain, invading the secret base, striking Thimble, and stealing all the magical artifacts to dispose of.
The traitor then cleared his obligations and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd close behind.
Individual Reasons
Moreover, each character has a individual motive to leave the city Dol-Makjar:
- Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, wants vengeance.
- The knowledgeable figure has experience in the region and cautions that it is a dangerous place.
- The warrior and Wicander, having disobeyed his house’s orders to execute the target and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
- Yet, their status as important members in House Halovar could help the team access places they normally couldn’t.
- Moreover, The grateful character vowed a eternal obligation to The cleric for his rescue and will now accompany him anywhere.
Pursued by Authorities
Finally, all of them are hunted by the authorities that control Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making remaining behind dangerous:
- The agile adventurer and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
- The warrior and Wicander betrayed the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
- The target is wanted dead by the clan.
This results in them no alternative but to travel to Timmony in quest for the traitor.
What’s Next?
Based on episode three’s post-show segment, we find out that the Soldiers table will not appear the following episode, leaving the remaining eight participants to form the Explorers and Strategists tables.
Audiences can expect finding out which characters will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on next week.
